Vita-Mix® Unveils New Advance™ Container and Xl™ Published October 1, 2009 Vita-Mix Corporation, a recognized leader in blender technology since 1921, introduces the new Advance Container, featuring a unique shape and design that improves pourability. By creating a smoother and faster pour without the mess, the enhanced container and built-in dripless spout deliver time and cost savings, increased speed of service and an improved customer experience. By using the new BPA-free Advance Container, quick-service restaurant operators can save an estimated two to three seconds of pouring time, especially vital during high-traffic times. Users will notice a higher quality blend in less time without the need to change any of their current machine programming. In addition, the chemical-resistant container offers improved washability, while double-sealed bearings extend the overall life of the container. The container is available for use on Vita-Mix Advance machines, including the Drink Machine Advance, Barboss® Advance, Blending Station® Advance and T&G2 Blending Station®. “The new Advance Container is a significant upgrade for our high-quality lineup of Advance machines, which are some of our most popular products within the foodservice industry,” said Tony Ciepiel, vice president of Vita-Mix’s commercial division. “Users will immediately recognize and appreciate the faster, smoother, no-drip pour. And because the new container offers improved washability, industry professionals will experience a time savings when it comes to cleanup.”
The Vita-Mix XL’s design allows for reduced preparation time and increased efficiencies, including the ability to create multiple servings in a single batch (up to twenty-four 8 oz. servings), process elimination and labor and time savings. With its variable speed and pre-programmed timed cycles, as well as a pulse function for any selected speed, the XL gives the operator control over a product’s consistency and the ability to offer menu and meal options never before considered. The high-performance blade design provides a superior blend with consistent results and improved taste and nutrition. “The XL is for those restaurant chefs, hotel and banquet managers and school and healthcare foodservice directors that make batches of the same item several times a day or are limited in menu items due to potential prep time or an inconsistent blend,” said Ciepiel. “This high-performance blender joins a family of high-quality Vita-Mix products that will become a staple in commercial kitchens across the world. The 1.5 gallon real blending capacity will dramatically reduce prep time, while delivering unbeatable results. The XL gives chefs the ability to expand menu options, improve staff efficiency and create superior food taste profiles.” As the leading blending expert in the foodservice industry, chefs and foodservice providers have come to rely heavily on the diverse range of products and the high quality with which Vita-Mix products are tested and developed.
