Kindal Voss Assumes New Role As General Manager Published January 15, 2010 The Alderwood Group announced today it has promoted Kindal Voss to the position of General Manager for the award-winning lakeside resort Lagonita Lodge. Prior to this position Voss was Operations Manager for The Alderwood Group, the managing company of Lagonita Lodge, and was responsible for overseeing room inventory, reservations and exchange opportunities for over 6,000 timeshare owners. “Kindal is very capable and brings a wealth of hotel, management and operations experience with her,” says Tom Johnson, CEO and President of The Alderwood Group, “and we are confident she will continue to excel.” Voss began her hospitality career in 1999 working with Johnson at Northwoods Resort and Conference Center, a full-service hotel property in Big Bear Lake. During her tenure at Northwoods, Voss assumed various management positions including Front Office Supervisor and Senior Sales and Marketing Manager. In 2008, Voss moved to The Alderwood Group as Operations Manager. In addition to the responsibilities described above, she managed Alderwood Vacation Rentals, a subsidiary of The Alderwood Group. “I am happy at the opportunity to return to the property level,” said Voss. “I have worked behind the scenes for Lagonita for the last two years and have gotten to know many of Lagonita’s owners and repeat guests; I am excited to take on this level of responsibility for this beautiful lakeside resort.” Lagonita Lodge employs 60 managers and hourly staff members and offers 98 condominium-style lodge rooms with full kitchens, an indoor pool, two spas, a workout facility, boat docks, a recreation room, an adult lounge, a full schedule of activities and events and conference space.
