The Registry Collection Exchange Programme Wins Prestigious OPP Industry Award Published November 2, 2009 The Registry Collection® programme, the world’s largest luxury exchange programme and one of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE: WYN), has been recognised with the 2009 Overseas Property Professional (OPP) Industry Award in the Best Fractional Service category. The Registry Collection programme pioneered the concept of luxury leisure property exchange when it launched in the U.S. eight years ago. It now has more than 130 affiliates across five continents bringing more than 160 properties that are available through the programme and are either accessible for exchanges or under development. In the last 12 months its European business development team has affiliated five new properties in Italy, France, Spain, Greece and Tunisia. The properties in the programme share the highest levels of quality and triple A locations. They include the Arcos Gardens Golf & Country Estate, which is situated in the heart of traditional Spain in Andalucia, close to the historic towns of Cadiz and Seville. The property is a fusion of the modern and the rustic and owners can enjoy preferential golf memberships on a Landmark-designed course. While Venice on Water offers the unique experience of living on a luxury houseboat in Italy’s most sought-after destination. Owners can relax on the boat in the marina or cruise the iconic Venetian waterways. The vessels feature designer interiors with original artworks. Representatives from *ICREA, AIPP, NAEA International and the Florida Association of Realtors were among the judges, who agreed the standard of entrants was much higher than last year. The feedback from the judges on The Registry Collection was: “The size, scale and expertise of this international company protects the buyer and its growing specialist knowledge creates value for a wide variety of developers.” The Registry Collection team considers the OPP Industry Award to be one of the most prestigious in the industry. “We’re delighted to have our efforts in helping developers to grow their businesses, and the fractional industry as a whole, recognised by an organisation of OPP’s standing,” said Nick Turner, vice president of business development, The Registry Collection, Europe. “We’d like to thank the OPP team for its contribution to the fractional industry by embracing and supporting it so well across all its media channels and for giving us this opportunity to be recognised on the widest of property stages.” “I’d also like to thank our affiliates and industry associates who are all very much a part of the team that made winning this prestigious award possible,” added Turner.
