Grand Pacific Resort Services Says ‘Read Our Lips’:
“No Maintenance Fee Increases “

Published October 5, 2009

Grand Pacific Resort Services,  a privately owned vacation ownership management company located in Carlsbad, CA announced that it will lead the charge in recommending to its homeowner Boards that there be no maintenance fees increases during 2009-2010.

“Read our lips,” says Nigel Lobo, Vice President of Operations for Grand Pacific Resort Services. “We are on the owners’ side during these tough economic times. We understand the budgetary constraints the current economic environment has placed on our owners.  We want our owners to enjoy their vacation ownership, and not have to worry about increases in maintenance fees.”

The decision to have no increase in maintenance fees came about via a careful analysis of operations and a “strong team that is pulling together to make us more efficient,” says Mr. Lobo.  “We have implemented a thorough due diligence on all expenses, implemented cost cutting on all fronts while we continue to provide the highest levels of service with extra effort at every level.”

“We are proud to be a management company that delivers all of our support processes in house”. “Because we keep outsourcing to a minimum, we have direct control over the quality delivered during each owner/customer interaction, each of which plays a part in creating memorable vacation experiences.  Our owners know that we have their best interest at heart.  Our resorts are their vacation homes and they can rest assured they will receive the quality services and amenities they have come to expect while we keep our maintenance fees in check.”

Grand Pacific Resort Services is one of the oldest and largest vacation ownership companies based in California. Servicing over 45,000 owner-families every year, Grand Pacific Resort Services manages 14 properties, including the recently-developed Grand Pacific MarBrisa Resort in Carlsbad, California.
