Celebrity Resorts’ 2009 Golf Spooktacular raises $20,000 for Give Kids The World Village

Published October 30, 2009

Halloween was in full swing on Thursday, October 29 at Celebrity Resorts’ 2009 Golf Spooktacular benefiting Give Kids The World Village (GKTW). The third annual charity golf tournament, held at historic Dubsdread Golf Course, was packed with tricks – Miss Florida USA opened the tournament, Halloween characters roamed the course, and golfers participated in several “spooktacular” contests – resulting in a $20,000 treat for GKTW.

“Once again we were privileged to host the Golf Spooktacular. We thank our Platinum Sponsor, RCI, and all other sponsors and participants – it is with their support that we were able to put on such a successful tournament with the $20,000 result for Give Kids The World,” said Jared Meyers, the chief executive officer of Celebrity Resorts.

“We are grateful to Celebrity Resorts and the Golf Spooktacular sponsors and golfers for their continued support of Give Kids The World,” said Pamela Landwirth, the president of GKTW.
