RCI, the worldwide leader in vacation exchange and one of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE: WYN), today announced it was named one of the 2010 ‘Best Places to Work’ in Indiana during a ceremony held last Thursday evening at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.

“We are thrilled to have been named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana for the second year in a row,” said Gordon Gurnik, president, RCI North America. “In addition to this honor, RCI was also named as one of the Top Work Places by the Indianapolis Star. These accolades are a testament to the passion and enthusiasm of our associates both here in Indianapolis and at our offices around the world.”

A project of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, BizVoice, Inside INdiana Business, the Indiana Youth Institute, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Best Companies Group, the awards program was created in 2006 to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Indiana that benefit the state’s economy, workforce and businesses

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

•Have at least 25 employees in Indiana;
•Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
•Be a publicly or privately held business;
•Have a facility in the state of Indiana; and
•Must be in business a minimum of one year
Companies from across the state entered a two-part process that determined the top companies and final rankings. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics, and the second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience.
