The time has come again for fresh ideas, and the first step on the path to change is a new group of leaders who will pave the way.
Raintree has brought two new faces on board: Gary Allcorn and Ann Barker.

Mr. Allcorn joined Raintree in September 2011 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, he is responsible for all financial and accounting functions as well as profitability, financial analysis, tax, banking relationships, cash management, and budgeting. His duties also include working closely with the Chief Executive Officer to achieve and implement a growth strategy, and secure additional equity financing. For more than 25 years, Mr. Allcorn has been Chief Financial Officer for a number of publicly traded and private equity-backed companies in the following industries: multi-national oilfield services, industrial services, and telecommunications. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Masters of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University.

“This is an exciting opportunity to apply my past experiences in other endeavors to keep Raintree at the top of its industry,” says Allcorn.

Ms. Barker joined Raintree in October 2011 as Senior Vice President of Resort Operations. In her position, she is responsible for the daily management and overall efficiency of the Raintree resort portfolio. Additionally, her duties include identifying and assisting with implementation of growth strategies for Raintree’s resort management, and ensuring the satisfaction of the company’s on-site guests. Ms. Barker has been active in the resort industry since 1993; she spent most of the past eighteen years as a consultant with RCI Consulting and Ragatz & Associates, and most recently provided consulting services to the timeshare industry through her own company, Barker & Associates. She also spent three years with Starwood Vacation Ownership where she created and directed a new business unit called Consumer Insight. Ms. Barker is active as a member of the ARDA International Foundation Board and has served on various committees during her years of service.

Douglas Y. Bech, CEO of Raintree Resorts, officially announced the additions of Mr. Allcorn and Ms. Barker in October.

“I’m excited to bring on Gary and Ann,” says Bech. “Both are seasoned experts in their respective fields and are already making an impact at Raintree. Gary has substantial experience in finance, operations and accounting in various industries, and also in working with private equity firms. Ann’s extensive knowledge of the industry and commitment to excellence are well-known.”

Raintree is also pleased to announce the promotion of April Bolden to Corporate Controller, Raintree Resorts International, and the promotion of the following individuals to Vice President:
